About American Virtual Staging

American virtual staging is about making a space look bigger by dividing it into zones. It’s composed of earthy wood furnishing and a natural color palette from light beige to dark brown. The furniture is often manufactured from oak and finished either naturally or stained darker espresso tones.

The American style became an increasingly popular interior design style with the advent of the Open Floor Plan in the early 1990s, which combines the traditional living and dining rooms with the kitchen.

The furniture often has more bulk and heft than other styles as the style emphasizes comfort above form. For example, living rooms are often filled with comfy sectional couches and large La-Z-Boys recliners.

When it comes to dining room sets the American style often has wooden tables and chairs with simple, hard-lined edges. In bedrooms it’s common to find larger queen or king or even California King sized beds with simple wooden headboards complete with matching bed stands and dressers.

American interior design strives to reflect the hospitable character of the traditional family. It seeks to encourage family time and interaction in open and airy spaces. You can make a meal, watch TV, read a book or chat with your guests all from the comfort of one room.
